Earth Wind Fire
Three elements came together in Fayetteville on this day to produce some magic. Earth - the incredibly lovely scenery. Wind - the wind was strong and boy do I love the way wind makes an image feel. Fire - there were some controlled burns happening in the area and the smoke created a hazy, foggy, golden filter to the light which was amazing. Not to mention this goddess and pregnant mama who was so relaxed, open and receptive to some creativity and silhouette ideas I had. These two kiddos who were just happy to be and had parents that didn’t push them into any pose or put any expectations on them. And last but not least, a very content husband :). This session was rescheduled due to weather and I unknowingly scheduled their session right during the Razorback basketball game - which they won and went to the sweet 16 - my bad. But when he wasn’t helping with a kid, helping me find rocks to hold my stand up because it kept blowing over or needed for photos, he had his headphones in and got to watch some of the game on his phone. So I’d say it all worked out for everyone.
The weather doesn’t always cooperate like this, but if you come to your session with an open-mind and let go of expectations, you will still be able to capture stunning images of you and your family.
